We are currently looking for two Service Desk Analysts within the highly successful IT Service Desk Team on a permanent and fixed term basis until 31 November 2012.
You will be a team player with a strong customer service background and thorough knowledge of IT systems and software. This role demands someone with the skill, customer focus and aptitude to continue to develop and improve the services delivered by this team.
You will need to be inquisitive, and an excellent problem solver, your focus on customer service will mean you are always willing to go the extra mile to resolve a customer’s issue.
- You will be a confident communicator equally able to communicate to customers by phone, email and face to face and be able to communicate to different audiences using appropriate vocabulary.
- You will be a self starter, willing to pick up new skills quickly.
- You will be required to build on your existing knowledge of IT Service Desk processes, working with 3rd Party suppliers and managed service contracts, as well as developing your experience of delivering services through ITIL based process.
- You will be required to gain and develop an understanding of the IT Infrastructure that underpins the IT estate that you will support.
- You will be required to actively contribute to IT projects as directed by your line manager.
- You will be required to maintain excellent working relationships with other teams within the department and collaborate closely with them to resolve incidents and problems.
- You will be comfortable producing documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
