Community Education Lewisham is looking to appoint a full time site manager.
You will report to the Support Services Manager and be responsible for managing CEL’s five main centres, as well as community venues, to provide a professional service for customers and a friendly, welcoming and safe environment.
You will provide leadership for the development of the Centres and will manage the work of a team of Premises Officers and canteen staff. Your team will enable CEL to welcome learners and deliver the curriculum.
The successful candidate will have practical experience of the day-to-day management of public buildings. You will have a sound practical understanding of health and safety, equalities and property management legislation in the context of an adult learning environment.
You will be a strong communicator, take a meticulous approach to security and have the practical skills necessary to oversee general building maintenance and repairs.
