Islington Adult and Community Learning provides First Steps learning opportunities to disadvantaged and vulnerable adult learners in Islington to improve their quality of life and life chances. We work in partnership with voluntary and community organisations to deliver SfL programmes that engage people in learning and are relevant to their lives. Courses take place in a network of neighbourhood learning centres and other community venues across the Borough.

We are looking for an ESOL tutor who can help us to build Skills for Life into an inclusive and engaging curriculum area that responds to learners’ needs. We want subject experts to support the ACL team in achieving this. You will be enthusiastic, good at working in partnership with many organisations and will have extensive experience of supporting hard to reach adult learners . You will have innovative and exciting ideas of how we can reach learners and support them to achieve and progress.
