Special Needs and Parents (SNAP) is a voluntary support group run by parents of children with a variety of disabilities and special needs, based at Parliament Children’s Centre. The group has gained funding for a co-ordinator to run and develop the group and increase the membership numbers. The post is for a year initially, future years will depend on further successful grant bids and for one day, 71/2 hours per week although some additional hours may be available as necessary.
This is an interesting opportunity for someone motivated, friendly and committed to supporting families. It is an excellent opportunity to use your skills and experience in multi-agency work.
