The Job
Social Work Improvement Manager – Fixed Term
Salary £43,368 p.a. This is an exciting time for social work in Newham:- national developments like the Munro review present a once in a lifetime opportunity to redesign social work around children and families rather than process and procedure.
- locally, we are already a long way into this journey. Our recent redesign emphasised early intervention through building resilience and capacity with dramatic implications for all our services.
- our new Intensive Family Intervention service enables a radical redrawing of support to families with multiple problems which we are exploiting as a Phase 2 Community Budget pilot area
- and we are committed to commissioning a new IT system to support improved social work practice and enhance our use of data across our work with children and families.
The Person
