As a senior practitioner, you will be expected to hold a complex caseload, where your proven social work experience will enable you to be able to demonstrate clear risk assessments and excellent decision making skills. You will also play a vital role supporting the team and offering case advice and consultation in the absence of the team and assistant manager.
As an experienced Social Worker with the full post qualifying award who is registered with the General Social Care Council, you will have experience of working with child protection cases, care proceedings, Looked After Children and complex child in need cases. You will also have a sound knowledge of relevant child care legislation, good report writing and communication skills. This may be your first experience as a senior practitioner.
