Join us as a 16+ Social Worker and you’ll be responsible for improving outcomes for young people in and leaving care in Doncaster.
Are you enthusiastic and motivated? Have you post qualifying experience working in this specialist area?
We are seeking a 16+ social worker with an outward looking approach. You will need to be self-motivated and creative when it comes to managing your caseload as effectively as possible.
You will be networking with a range of other agencies and professionals to build effective partnerships to improve outcomes. By undertaking thorough Assessments and Pathway Plans with young people you will develop and co-ordinate their transition to adulthood in line with current legislation and guidance. The plans for will be for long term involvement across education, health and accommodation ensuring the young person is at the centre of all planning.
With a relevant professional qualification, GSCC registration and ideally a post qualification award in children’s social work, you’ll have a good working knowledge of relevant leaving care legislation and practice issues and a solid understanding of the integration agenda.
