Location:Based in the Town Hall, Weston-super-Mare

As an adoption social worker you will be involved in the full range of adoption work, including the preparation and assessment of prospective adopters, family finding for children requiring an adoptive placement, contributing to the process of matching children with prospective adopters and providing support post-placement.

If you are motivated by the possibility of providing a high level of service you could have a rewarding future in the adoption team.

We are seeking a part-time, qualified social worker with excellent practice skills and direct experience of working with children, young people and their families. Also, you should have relevant post qualifying childcare social work experience.

The post holder will join an experienced, lively and supportive team who are committed to improving the quality of care offered to all those affected by adoption.
