We’re always on the lookout for experienced Social Workers in our Children’s Services, currently we are inviting applications from experienced Social Workers with more than two years experience in a front line and/or statutory role including court and child protection experience who have experience working in a Children in Care service or are keen to diversify their experience in a new service.

About the person

Ideally with experience of working in a Children in Care setting but not essential, you will have a comprehensive understanding and practical experience of working with the Children’s Act 1989 and associated legislation, you will be a experienced GSCC registered Social Worker looking to progress your Social Work career; You will be particularly skilled at working with professionals from other disciplines to achieve positive outcomes. You will be able to identify and work with vulnerable young people, those with complex problems and those who may present a risk to others.
