Social Worker – HMYOI Cookham Wood

Fixed Term for 2 years

Main Purpose Of Job

To work with a multi agency team, assessing risk and working with boys aged between 15 and 18 years old, held either ‘on remand’ or ‘sentenced’ at HMYOI Cookham Wood.

The post holder will work to ensure that the boys’ needs and risks are addressed through the training plans and help to provide appropriate interventions, which will offer support whilst in the establishment and in the transition back to the community.

This post would be ideal for a newly qualified social worker.
