Location:Based within various teams across the Bradford District.

Do you have good communication and innovative skills and the ability to work as part of a team; as well as being willing to contribute to wider service developments? We have vacancies based within our Child and Family teams who work with children aged 0 – 11, our Young People and Family teams working with children aged 11 – 18, Assessment Teams who work with all new referrals and also in our Children’s Complex Health and Disabilities Team.

You must have:

  • A DIPSW or equivalent qualification and be registered with the GSCC
  • A full driving licence and car available for work (unless a disability prevents this)
  • The ability to asses the needs of children and families and develop care plans to meet these needs
  • A commitment to anti-oppressive practice and to the Councils Equal Opportunities policy
  • Some knowledge of the service needs of ethnic minority communities
  • Confident computer skills, and be able navigate an electronic file system write reports
