About the role:
As part of a multi agency team you will be provided with professional supervision and support as well as being expected to share your expertise with colleagues from a range of disciplines.
The Targeted Response Team works closely with internal agencies such as Children’s Social Care and also external agencies in order to provide a holistic approach to supporting young people and their families. The successful candidate will need to liaise closely with these agencies. You will hold a caseload of high level work. Ensure children and young people are safeguarded by identifying and addressing child protection issues and concerns with colleagues as appropriate.
Are you committed to working with young people and their families to enable a ‘whole family’ approach to assessment and engagement within a multi-disciplinary team; and with internal and external partners? You should be able to work collaboratively to support practitioners in identifying families impacted by substance misuse. Contribute to Early help assessments, which identify individual needs of all family members and family dynamics. Contribute to the development of whole family, outcome focused support plans which respond to the needs of families (and individual family members). The ability to use various IT packages is essential in conjunction with good administrative/organisational skills. Being flexible and able to work under pressure is also essential as is the need to appropriately prioritise.
