Fixed term for 1 year due to external funding.

Hull City Council is working with a range of partners to develop programmes which will engage children, young people, adults, families and older people in sport and physical activity across the City.

The Ageing Well Programme is focussed on developing a targeted programme at day centres, sheltered housing schemes and care homes to deliver of health and social physical activities including Boccia, New Age Kurling and so on.

We have a comprehensive Disability Sport Plan for Hull in order to increase participation in sport and active recreation for people with a disability, including a range of quality community based opportunities for children and young people with a disability.

We are looking to recruit an individual who is highly motivated and has a passion for sport and physical activity. You will be able to coordinate the delivery of the Ageing Well Programme and implement the disability sport priorities for the city. You will have the ability to work in partnership, with external agencies such as Age UK as well as local voluntary community organisations to develop a robust network of opportunities for children, young people and adults with a disability to be active.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept applications from any employees who have recently left Hull City Council under the Early Termination of Employment Scheme. Those that left under this scheme are not eligible for re-employment by the Council for a period of 5 years from the date of leaving.
