Our residents tell us that crime and anti-social behaviour are their main concerns. To address these concerns we are investing £1.7 million in our newly restructured Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour Service. We aim to make Newham a Safer place to live, work and stay, and we will achieve this with a dynamic neighbourhood approach to crime reduction and a strong partnership with the Metropolitan Police Service.

As a Street Scene Enforcement Officer you will be on the front-line, investigating environmental crimes, educating the public by issuing advice and when necessary taking enforcement action such as issuing advice and when necessary taking enforcement action such as issuing fixed penalty notices. You will work in close partnership with the police and other partners in administering long-term practical solutions to local problems.
