Are you looking for a position from September 2008? We are looking for a Study Supervisor to join our team of support staff providing essential support for teachers and students. You will support a specific Curriculum Team: either Science, Mathematics, ICT, Languages or Performing Arts. With the necessary authority, training and support, the postholder will cover lessons and promote learning; supervise classes for short-term absences of teachers; undertake examination invigilation and assist on school visits.
The ability to command and show respect; confidence in dealing with young people and ability to show initiative and flexibility are required. Experience of working in a school environment and/or educated to a degree level would be an advantage.

Salary details: £14,100 pa for 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only plus 5 teacher training days). Full time (whole year) equivalent: £16,700 pa. Pay award pending.
