Hours:The working hours per week are Tuesday to Saturday 08.15 to 13.15 but the ability to be flexible is necessary as you may occasionally be required to work Mondays, afternoons or evenings.

Salary:£22,221 - £24,646 pa (pro rata’d to hours worked)

The Abingdon Guildhall is a local amenity hiring rooms to businesses, community groups and individuals, for weddings, parties, conferences, and training.

You will be part of a small team working to ensure the smooth and efficient day to day running of the building. Your commitment to high standards of customer service will be without question together with your flexible and organised approach. An ability to regularly manoeuvre equipment and furniture is essential.

You will supervise four permanent staff and a bank of casual staff, previous supervisory experience is therefore essential. First Aid certificate is essential although training will be given. Experience in bar management, cash handling, booking systems and general knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations is required.

We offer a minimum of 23 days annual leave (pro rata to hours worked) and a Final Salary Pension Scheme.
