This role provides strategic commercial support to the commissioning and procurement cycles, taking responsibility for engaging with the market to ensure effective support for strategy delivery and informing strategy development based on performance. You will work with the contract and procurement teams to ensure the market develops in line with service needs and that the commissioning cycle delivers needs based outcomes
The Supplier Relationship Manager will actively interface and coordinate activity across key suppliers, also working in close partnership with Clinical Commissioning Groups and Community Health Providers where applicable and work with ICT, entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprise to suggest innovation to the Heads of Service as to the ways in which we can deliver Commissioning across Adult Social Care and Health.
The successful candidate pursues creative and new ideas to provide solutions to problems, is outcomes focused and solution-oriented together with a good knowledge of the adult social care market. You will work closely and collaboratively with category managers, strategic commissioners, contract leads and other Service Managers throughout this process.
