As an escort on the supply list you will be required to work on a casual as and when basis to cover holidays and sickness leave. Escorts are responsible for the care and supervision of passengers with assessed needs, whilst they are travelling to and from schools, college, day centres and learning disability bases at the beginning and end of the day. Escorts are usually required to board the vehicle in the area where the journey starts each morning and for some journeys make there way to the depot based at Stockholm Road where the in house fleet run out of. Escorts are returned to the agreed pick up point at the end of each journey.

A caring and responsible attitude towards children and adults is essential as is a willingness to undertake training. You must have good communication skills and a flexible approach. A basic knowledge of first aid would be helpful.
