Platters Farm Lodge is a 43 bedded Residential Home & Day Centre providing residential, respite, day care and rehabilitation for older people.

We seeking committed, enthusiastic individuals to join our highly motivated team to provide care and support to adults in accordance with the National Care Standards for Older People. Your role will include providing high quality support, and personal care to our service users, promoting independence, and building confidence to successfully achieve their specified aims.

The successful applicants will demonstrate knowledge and a sound understanding of the needs of older and disabled people, a working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements, the ability to problem solve and prioritise workload, good basic written and numeracy skills, and an understanding of customer care.

You will be expected to have a flexible approach, as rotas will include working both weekends and weekday nights.

It is desirable that applicants possess an NVQ at level 2 or are willing to undertake training for accreditation.
