You’ll be caring, enthusiastic, IT literate and exceptionally organised with excellent people skills, looking for a challenging role in a busy environment. You will be passionate about customer service excellence and will be a significant contributor to maintaining our ‘A’ grade service. You will be responsible for assessing the needs & risks of potential residents and for the sign up process when an applicant has been accepted, as well as working on a rota basis providing housing related support cover for our 14 sheltered housing schemes – so access to a car, and flexibility, is essential. You will also be required to deputise for the Senior Supported Housing Officer whenever necessary. Full training will be provided, but you must have/be prepared to have a full enhanced CRB check.
- You must be able to demonstrate the following (there will be a test):
- Computer literacy (including Microsoft Excel and Word;
- The ability to discuss sensitive issues tactfully and calmly;
- Excellent organisational skills;
- Confidence, enthusiasm and a flexible approach;
- Excellent administration skills, accuracy and attention to detail;
- A proven ability to learn, and a willingness to utilise new ideas and ways of working;
- Good customer care skills;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Availability to participate in the out of hours Emergency Standby Call Out Duty Rota;
- Team player.
You will be passionate about deadlines and quality standards, establishing and maintaining effective communication and efficient record keeping systems, both paper driven and computer based.
