About Transform Housing & Support Founded in 1972, Transform helps homeless and vulnerable people to improve their lives and become more independent, being a well-established supported housing specialist working throughout Surrey, as well as in the London Borough of Sutton and Wokingham in Berkshire. We have an excellent professional reputation and are well respected in our field.

What we do We provide supported housing to around 650 clients giving them a safe and secure home but also supporting them to build up their skills and confidence so they can eventually move on and live independently. Last year 434 clients moved on – with around 80% doing so successfully. We also provide support on housing related issues to over 100 clients in their own homes through our ‘floating support’ services.

Joining our Reigate team as a Supported Housing Worker will give you an opportunity to put your understanding and passion for working with vulnerable people to good use.

You will act as a keyworker to named clients, involved in such areas as:

• Assisting clients to acquire daily living skills
• Collecting and banking rent
• Making applications for welfare and housing benefits
• Maintaining records

Ideally you will have six months’ experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Dealing with the benefits system
• Supporting at least one of the following client groups:
• homeless people
• young people
• people with a history of offending
• people recovering from alcohol and drug dependency
• people with mental health problems
• Working in supported housing

A full valid driving licence and use of own car for business purposes is essential.
