Over 500,000 people in the UK have autism. Together with their families, they make up over two million people whose lives are touched by autism every single day. At the National Autistic Society, our vision is a world where all people living with autism get to lead the life they choose.
We are establishing a dedicated customer services team to enhance and improve the experience our supporters have with us. We are looking for two experienced Supporter Care Officers to help us provide a first-class service to all our members, supporters and customers.
This is an exciting opportunity where you can use your customer service skills and contribute to a first-class customer services team to make a real difference and be in at the start of a key strategic venture. Working initially with the Supporter Care Project Manager and the Supporter Care Manager, you will be involved in setting up the team’s systems and processes and preparing the team for going live in May this year. You will then provide a first point of contact to all our supporters and answer their queries, providing them with the assistance they need, and dealing with their complaints in a fashion that is compliant with the FRSB standards and best customer service practice. Working with the Support Care Manager, you will also help other teams within the organisation to improve their processes to ensure that the supporters’ needs are at the focus of all our interactions with them.

- An appreciation of applications, systems and processes with the ability to help design and improve operational business processes
- Well-developed communication skills, excellent telephone manner, and a willingness to go the extra mile for the supporter
