City Planning is looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated person with knowledge of environmental appraisal techniques to work in its Planning Strategy and Projects team.

The successful candidate will provide a crucial role in undertaking sustainability appraisals of key planning policy documents and advising on the sustainability issues arising, including assisting in compiling evidence for the public examination of the Council’s Core Strategy this summer.

Start date: May 2010.
