Required for September 2010, a well-qualified, passionate and creative teacher to join a lively and thriving department.

The teaching of Geography is to Advanced Level and International Baccalaureate and helps to prepare students for the highest academic challenges, including preparation for Oxbridge. This position may be suited to a new entrant to the profession.

The Windsor Boys’ School is a heavily over-subscribed all-boys 13-18 comprehensive school and the successful candidate would be expected to teach Geography across the complete age and ability range (Geography AS/A2 is a very popular post-16 option at the school).

Results in Geography are consistently well above the national average and the recent Ofsted Inspection (May 2008) reported that teaching and learning is outstanding. The successful candidate would therefore join a successful, committed and well-motivated team.

If you are interested in applying for this position please access the school’s website where further information can be found.

The Windsor Boys’ School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced CRB check and satisfactory references are required for this post. CVs will not be accepted in place of an application form.
