Aston Manor is a highly successful, multi ethnic Academy for pupils aged 11 – 18, that lies in the heart of Birmingham. In the last Ofsted inspection the school received an extremely positive report and was judged to be Good with Outstanding features. One Outstanding aspect we are particularly proud of is pupil behaviour. We are currently rated in the top 1% of schools nationally for achievement. In 2011, 63% of our students achieved 5 or more A* – C, including English and Maths.

The school provides a very supportive, positive and vibrant environment in which teachers can develop a wide range of skills that will enhance career development.

A teacher of Science is required to teach KS3, KS4 and KS5. The ability to teach Physics to A-level would be an advantage, however first and foremost we are looking for an outstanding teacher. The candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner and have enthusiasm for their subject. This position is open to experienced and newly qualified teachers
