Balfour Primary School requires an enthusiastic, committed and qualified 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be expected to provide 1:1 support for a SEN child with some attachment needs in KS1. In addition, the successful candidate will provide general MDSA duties.

Our school is a four form-entry primary school and is one of the largest primary schools in the country with nearly 900 pupils on roll. Following the merger in 2011, the school was judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in November 2012. The Teaching Assistants are a busy and productive team within the School who support our enthusiastic students as well as our vibrant teams of teaching staff. Hours: The post holder will be expected to work Monday – Friday, 12:00 – 3:15, term time only. This is comprised of MDSA duties from 12:00 – 1:15, then TA duties from 1:15 – 3:15.Rate: The MDSA role pays £7.65/hr and the TA role pays £8.23/hr.
