Salary:D2 – Salary: £15,039 - £19,126 per annum pro rata + SEN Allowance

The Marlborough Centre is a specialist provision for pupils with autism, attached to Hoo St Werburgh Primary School. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our team – every child must matter to you.

Ideally you be working towards or already have NVQ level 3 relevant to childcare or education and also recent experience of working with young people with special educational needs/autism. If this is you then we are interested in hearing about your talents, skills and strengths.

Offer of appointment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced criminal records bureau disclosure.

Hoo St Werburgh Primary School and the Marlborough Centre is a large primary school with an attached centre for children diagnosed as autistic. There are over 462 children on roll, organised into 14 classes with two classes per year group in the main school. The Centre has six classes catering for 54 children. This school occupies a pleasant site surrounded by green fields, is well resource and staff value a high level of teacher assistant support within the classrooms.
