Teaching Assistant
Full time, permanent
Required from 16th April, 2012 (or as soon as possible thereafter)
Term Time Only, five days per week – 30 hours per week. 39 weeks per year (including INSET days).
Grade: APTC 3, Points 14-17
Salary: £12,378 – £13,156 p.a. Pay and grading review pending

The successful applicants will support students with special educational needs in the classroom. Applicants need to be enthusiastic, flexible and have good communication skills. A good standard of literacy skills is essential, and some experience of working with children and education would be an advantage. Applicants would be expected to work with another member of staff in a Co-Tutor role.
