Nacro Education are seeking to recruit for a new and exciting role which will be delivering its Teaching, Learning and Assessment improvement strategy.
This will be working throughout our centres in Boston, Wisbech, Bury St Edmunds and Spalding you will make a significant contribution towards our journey towards gaining an outstanding Ofsted rating.
This post provides an excellent opportunity for professional development and to contribute to the improvement of teaching, learning and assessment. This role is full time with a maximum teaching commitment of 15 hours.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Undertake teaching, learning and assessment observations in centres across an agreed regional area and where required partner organisations.
Support relevant tutors, assessors and managers to improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment.
Validate, evidence and record judgements about the quality of teaching, learning and assessment.
Provide developmental support to relevant individuals in the organisation
Facilitate training and networking as appropriate.
Ensure administrative duties are being completed in a timely manner
Participate in training activities.
In order to be successful in this role you should have experience in:
Education (teaching and training)
Supporting and developing tutors, trainers and assessors to improve the quality of their work.
English and maths quality frameworks and accreditation procedures.
You should also hold up to date knowledge of observation practices and the application of the Common Inspection Framework to judgements about teaching, learning and assessment.
A teaching qualification is essential for this post as is a recent personal record of delivering a minimum grade 2 teaching and learning and assessment.
It is essential that you hold high level communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people of all levels both internally and externally.
28 days a year annual leave with the ability to accrue 1 day of additional holiday for every year of service up to 5 years plus bank holidays; pro rata for part-time employees
