Introduction

A Team Administrator is needed for the Independent Reviewing Officers (IRO) Team.The IRO team is responsible for the independent reviews of children who are In Care (Looked After) or who are subject to Child Protection Plans. The TA will need to provide support for Independent Reviewing Officers, Managers and work collaboratively with other teams and statutory agencies. Part of the role will also include minuting child protection conferences and other meetings.

Vacancy detail

You will provide customer-focused information to people who contact the team (service users and other professional agencies) as well as an efficient and effective administrative and clerical service within the team. It is essential that you have the ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone and in writing, be able to prioritise tasks and work within strict confidential guidelines. Contract: Part-time, Permanent Post : 18.5 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday afternoon)
