Team Leader – Casework & Adaptations

Swan Housing Group is based in Essex. The Group structure came into being in the late 1990s. Swan manages over 10,000 homes in Essex, Suffolk and East London. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer services, and we need ambitious, career minded individuals with a ‘can do’ attitude to deliver these services to our residents.

The Care and Repair Service known as the Home Improvement Agency works across Mid and North Essex. We provide clients with a range of services which could include information, guidance and signposting through caseworker support. We also offer handyperson, gardening, home from hospital, and falls prevention services and home improvement/adaptations services. We assist clients who are over 60, vulnerable or disabled.

The role requires a person who has a passion for managing people and experience in delivering a range of diverse services.

We are looking for a highly motivated person who is able to manage their own workload and that of the case working team to ensure our financial/timeline targets are delivered in accordance with various Service Level Agreements. You must possess strong leadership skills to drive the team and move the Home Improvement Agency towards self sustainability. Experience of adaptations within a local authority remit is desirable.

A full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is vital for this role. This post is also subject to an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Check.
