As a Team Manager, it will be your role to effectively supervise staff and deploy available resources to address the specific needs of children within your discipline and geographic area, taking operational decisions based on rigorous and documented analysis. Team managers are responsible and accountable for ensuring services are delivered within budget; consequently to be fully effective, you will develop creative ways to maximise your resources such as contingency planning and pooling resources with partners .You will also ensure your team members are well equipped to succeed, ensuring recruitment, retention and development remain key priorities.

You will possess practical management capability along with a significant background in children’s social work. You will be able to combine detailed experience of social work with strong management competence to implement statutory duties whilst improving outcomes for children, young people, their families or carers.

You will be required to hold a Full UK driving licence and have access to a car.

An enhanced CRB disclosure and a Children’s and Adults barred list check will be required for this role.
