Our Highways team aims to provide a high quality road network for the region. By ensuring our highways are safe for the public, we help make Central Bedfordshire a great place to work and live. As a Technical Officer- Liaison, you’ll make a big contribution. You’ll provide support to the Highways Service in order to ensure that we fulfil our statutory duties and responsibilities.
We need a skilled administrator who can draft and process statutory orders and liaise effectively with customers. You’ll be responsible for managing the service’s social media output and monitor social media traffic ensuring appropriate responses are made. You’ll understand and apply best practice while working closely with a range of stakeholders. You’re used to dealing with customers. You’ll build good working relationships, drawing on strong communication skills. With a good level of numeracy and literacy, you’ll be IT-literate and a natural problem solver.
