Hull is ranked high nationally in the rates of teenage pregnancy and teenage parents. The Teenage Pregnancy Support Service is part of a government initiative to ensure that pregnant teenagers and teenage parents are supported in accessing appropriate information and services to meet their individual needs.

You will carry out holistic assessments and offer specialised support to pregnant teenagers/teenage parents on housing issues. This is a demanding post as the service receives high levels of referrals for teenage parents who are homeless or have housing needs.

It is essential that you have a Diploma or equivalent in a relevant area and experience in supporting young parents and working within a team, knowledge of housing and welfare rights and good communication skills.
