Trainer Assessor in Childcare

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified childcare professional to help our learners achieve their goals.

In this key role, you will take charge of a cohort of candidates undertaking qualifications in childcare. Working in a timely and professional manner and with a flexible attitude to working hours, you will assess candidates in the workplace. We’ll look to you to undertake regular reviews of progress, provide learners with advice on further training and development opportunities, and complete relevant administration. An excellent communicator, you’ll also build strong relationships with employers to ensure effective health and safety in the workplace and secure continued training opportunities.

Keen to take advantage of the continuing professional development on offer, you will ideally have or be working towards qualifications in internal verification and teaching. You’ll definitely need an NVQ Level 3 qualification in early years, considerable current vocational experience, and assessor qualifications. You will also need a supportive and empathetic approach towards teaching and learning and a strong commitment to diversity and equality of opportunity. Your proven administration skills and sound knowledge of health and safety in the workplace will be matched by a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
