ContactPoint is an online directory being developed as part of the Every Child Matters programme to improve outcomes for all children. It will help practitioners to identify and contact one another allowing them to co-ordinate the services children require and to intervene early where needs are identified.
The ContactPoint team will be part of Havering’s Integration Team which is progressing a number of projects to deliver on integrated working, such as Common Assessment Framework, Integrated Children’s System, Children’s Services Directory and mobile working.
In this role you will ensure that practitioners understand how to use the system. This will include information sharing rules, security and audit, all within a broader context of the integrated working programme. You should be a qualified trainer with knowledge of information governance requirements including the Data Protection Act. You should also have a good working knowledge of current IT systems, eg web-based applications.
