AYLESBURY POLICE STATION
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to undertake an important role within the Sex Offenders Unit. Duties will include maintaining the ViSOR database which holds records of all registered sex offenders and dangerous offenders, monitoring sex offendersí registration, home visits and foreign travel, attending multiagency meetings to take minutes and carrying out general administrative tasks in support of the Officers.
To succeed in this role you need administrative experience which includes taking minutes, good IT skills predominantly Word & Excel, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must also be educated to GCSE level or equivalent, and will preferably have some experience of partnership working.
The Sex Offenders unit deals with highly sensitive information so an appreciation of the need for confidentiality is essential.
You will need to have a psychologically robust character as the Unit deals with some of the most serious offences. Please quote reference: 4133.
