WASTE AND STREETCARE SUPERVISOR

This demanding post assists the Direct Services Organisation Manager with the effective operation and quality control of depot based Waste Management and Street Care Services.

You will need to be computer literate and have some experience in local authority or contract waste management/street care. Membership of the Institute of Waste Management would be an advantage, and you must be flexible with regard to working hours as the post will require 5.30am starts on alternate weeks.

You will directly supervise approximately 20 refuse and street cleansing operatives so supervisory experience is essential. You must be able to work under pressure, be well organised and have good written and verbal communication skills.

A DSO vehicle will be available for business use, so a full driving license is required. A HGV license would be an advantage, but is not essential.
