Waste Reduction Officer

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills to join our waste services team. This is a busy frontline service with challenging targets, which needs innovative solutions and a practical approach to develop waste reduction, re-use and recycling initiatives within the borough. You will need exceptional organisational skills and have the ability to engage with a wide range of partners.

Working within a small team, you will need to be assertive and confident with an ability to work under pressure. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of Maidstone’s waste and recycling service, including making recommendations to improve quality and efficiency to all Environmental Services.
