The current programme of welfare reform represents the greatest change to welfare benefits in over 60 years and is one of the highest profile issues affecting the social housing sector.
We are looking to recruit an experienced project manager with a sound understanding of the welfare reform agenda who will co-ordinate work across L&Q and with external partners to mitigate the impact of the changes.
This post has a critical role in shaping our response, leading on a Trust-wide strategy and driving implementation through the coordination of a programme of activities. The post holder will be expected to use their strong analytical skills to identify important service changes, testing new approaches, monitoring progress and undertaking robust evaluation.
It is essential that you have a broad knowledge of housing and can work collaboratively across a number of different teams across L&Q and with our external stakeholders. You will be required to demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and influencing skills and have experience in working at a strategic level.
The job will be based at our Sidcup office but you will be expected to travel to a range of locations in London and the South East.
