Workplace – the Mayor’s Employment Project is expanding its current service to help more residents secure employment.
We offer a range of job brokerage and pre-employment support to help local residents overcome barriers to employment, and find a job that suits them.
Working across three sites, we are seeking additional members of staff to work with us to expand and improve our current service.
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who are committed to working to challenging targets within a supportive team environment. Applicants should have excellent communication and ICT skills, and an appreciation of the value of excellent customer service.
The post holder will be responsible for providing comprehensive regular statistical reports of the performance of the Workplace services using data held on our Profile RPM database. The majority of the reporting involves producing information about workless people entering employment and training against agreed targets, so an understanding of the barriers faced by residents in accessing training and employment is necessary.
Experience of adapting and presenting statistical and research information to suit a variety of audiences will be essential, as is the ability to manage time effectively in order produce reports to deadlines. You will be expected to hold excellent skills in the use of Information Technology (although specific experience of Profile RPM is not required), as well as report writing and presentation skills.
The Council reserves the right to close adverts early if there is a large response.
