We are seeking to recruit two Youth Engagement Officers to work within the Central Community Safety Team at Community Safety House in Medway, some travel shall be required within the region to fulfil the role.

The postholders shall be responsible for undertaking the delivery of youth engagement programmes and community safety activity, to deliver fire safety information to youths of all age ranges, undertake a variety of community safety activities within the community and deliver youth engagement programmes through various levels of courses and qualifications.

You must have knowledge of national community safety issues and initiatives, fire safety issues in relation to young persons and their families and have previous experience of the delivery of youth programmes, fie safety messages and working within the local community.

The successful applicants shall be required to undertake CRB check.
