Technical Officer

An additional technical officer is required to work in the Pollution Control Team. You will be involved in the investigation of pollution related issues and the enforcement of statutory legislation.

You will have experience of interpreting and presenting scientific data and possess effective IT and research skills as well as knowledge of environmental issues. Knowledge of the inspection and regulation of processes prescribed for permitting under the Environmental Permitting Regulations 2007, together with knowledge of Air Quality Management and monitoring.

A B Tech or HNC in a scientific subject, a diploma in Environmental Health, or relevant degree is required. The ability to travel to all areas of North East Lincolnshire and to work outside of normal office hours is also essential.
