Lewisham’s School Improvement Team is a highly successful and motivated group of professionals, rigorous in their support and challenge for schools. Lewisham has no schools in special measures and attainment is rising. Lewisham works with collaborative groups of primary schools and federations in the secondary phase to secure school improvement and the dissemination of good practice.

As a School Improvement Officer (Theme) you will be able to use your experience as a successful Senior Leader or LA adviser/consultant, to ensure that our pupils make faster than average progress and all our schools are good or better, by leading the Black Achievement Strategy. You will be responsible for delivering the Black Achievement element of our Lewisham Challenge across the Borough and contributing to the ongoing development of a lively, successful team.
