Library Co-ordinator
Brent Libraries, Arts and Heritage is looking to appoint a
highly motivated person to the post of Co-ordinator
with responsibility for co-ordinating borough wide service
provision to children, young people, adults and families.
The post holder will join the Cultural Strategic Team and
report to the Reader Development and Children and
Young People’s Managers.
You will plan the delivery of exciting and innovative
events and activities, train, develop and motivate
Development Officers, identify gaps in current provision,
evaluate services and help achieve identified targets in
the service operational plan.
Working with a range of internal and external organisations
the post holder will have excellent reader development
and communication skills (verbal and written).
The post holder must have good IT skills and be able to
work to targets and deadlines. relevant experience
developing reading and learning services for children,
young people, adults and families in a multi-cultural
environment would be desirable but not essential.
