Phoenix Day Services provides a needs led service, primarily, for the older person throughout the Borough of Reading.
You will hold a suitable catering qualification and be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the dietary needs for older people. You will have previous experience in creating menus, ordering the necessary ingredients, preparing and cooking the meals for a large group of service users.
The Cook leads a small team of kitchen staff and jointly creates menus with the centre’s management that reflect the wishes of the users.
