As a Road Safety Tutor you will be expected to carry out pedestrian & cyclist-training programmes at various schools and sites around the Borough, to a set syllabus. You may also be asked to support the work of our school travel plan advisors. You will liaise with school/organisations staff and maintain training / monitoring records.

For all posts you must:

• Be a first rate communicator, able to work in the community with children, parents, teachers and head teachers.
• Be self-reliant, well organised, energetic and enthusiastic
• Be flexible to work outside normal office hours as required

You should be able to travel around the borough and have experience of working with school staff and younger children together with an interest in cycling.
