Public Realm Maintenance - Drivers

Harrow needs a number of committed and enthusiastic staff to join our Public Realm Services team. The role is demanding but also very rewarding, as you will be part of a team that will be improving the environment for Harrow residents and visitors.

We are looking for Drivers with experience of working as part of a team. You should enjoy a varied workload and be willing to learn new skills. In addition to the driving duties you will also be required to use various types of hand tools such as hedge cutters and grass strimming equipment. Part of the role will involve street sweeping and litter picking, along with the removal of fly tips, fly posters and graffiti. If you are over 25 and have a current clean UK driving licence we would like to hear from you.

The post is for 40 hours per week, and the services we provide are between 6am – 10pm. You may be required to work various 8-hour shifts between these times. There is also a need to work at weekends where there would be an overtime payment.
