An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join our friendly, enthusiastic, motivated and outstanding school. We are looking to appoint a very special learning mentor who can:
- Work with and teach young people and their families in order to improve children’s self esteem, their attendance and their abilities to achieve to the highest possible level.
- Plan and evaluate and deliver learning support programmes across all key stages which help remove any barriers to learning children may have.
- Work with children, individuals and groups and ensure that they take a full and confident part in all aspects of school life.
- Keep up to date records of progress and set targets for future success.
- Work successfully within a large staff team and with other organisations.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is enthusiastic, has drive, initiative and a positive attitude.
- Has excellent interpersonal skills and is able to provide a good role model for children and their families.
- Has previously worked or is working really well with children and their families.
- Can be flexible, can work independently and as part of a team and who has excellent time management skills.
- Is a very good listener and can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Is able to build positive relationships with all members of our school community.
