We need someone with strong administration skills to work in partnership with the local authority and other agencies in the community to promote the four objectives of the Licensing Act 2003.
Ideally using licensing or law enforcement experience, you will liaise with police officers, the courts, outside agencies, and the general public to deal with licensing applications. Proactive and flexible in your approach, you will attend meetings at various locations in the area, work in partnership with other agencies, such as Trading Standards, and make visits to licensed premises.
Organised, methodical, and comfortable working in a law enforcement environment, you will have comprehensive administrative experience, including the ability to analyse and assimilate information and prepare it in a range of formats to meet the needs of differing audiences. As well as a full driving licence, you will also need a flair for learning new IT systems and using word processing programmes.
